Meet the Team
Pam McCormick, LMHC, NCC
Pam engages her work from the foundational belief that within every living organism, whether in nature or in humans, exists a natural propensity toward healing and growth.
She utilizes a client centered approach to join her clients in exploring early childhood relationships, adverse or traumatic experiences, and current circumstances that propel or hinder healing and growth.
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Pam is an advocate for anyone feeling trapped under the weight of trauma, grief or addiction. Pam values racial and cultural diversity and approaches all clients with empathy, curiosity and respect. She firmly believes that deep, lasting healing is possible for anyone willing to take the journey.
Her approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, ensuring that each client feels heard, understood, and supported.

When not at the office, Pam enjoys time with her family and friends. She loves the simple pleasures in life - early morning stillness, curling up with a good book on a rainy day, a warm meal, a long run, quiet in nature, a hot cup of coffee, sunrises and sunsets, the feel of sand between toes, and the smell of ocean air.

Beth Duchanaud, LMSW, PhD
While teaching language and literature at university, Beth discovered that the stories she most enjoyed listening to were the personal ones shared by her students. This realization led her to pursue a career in psychotherapy.
As a New York-licensed Social Worker (LMSW), she has gained extensive experience working in both academic and clinical settings, supporting individuals, couples, and families in both urban and rural areas.

In her private practice, Beth utilizes an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches, including “the big T’s”: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Bibliotherapy, another evidence-based approach, holds a special place in her heart and can offer a different level of tailored support to her clients. She encourages community outreach with her younger clients because empathy is a key to tweaking perspective and building resilience.

Beth also works at a local International School where she helps foster resilience and community building for K-12 students through teaching and program building.

Outside of her professional life, Beth finds joy in simple things. Writing, long walks, community volunteering, and time spent with her family bring her peace and fulfillment.
